STIs & BBV

STIs (sexually transmissible infections) are infections that can be passed on during sexual contact — that includes oral, anal, and vaginal sex, as well as some skin-to-skin play. BBVs (blood-borne viruses) like hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV are spread when blood from one person gets into another person’s bloodstream.

That can happen through sharing injecting equipment or needles, reusing unsterilised piercing gear, or getting tattoos somewhere that doesn’t use safe, sterile tools (including some overseas spots). Knowing the risks means you can make choices that keep your sex and pleasure safe — without killing the vibe.

Let's get specific.
