HPV (human papillomavirus)

HPV (human papillomavirus) is one of the most common STIs and spreads mainly through skin-to-skin contact, even when there is no penetration. Some strains can cause genital warts and others are linked to cancers like cervical, anal, and throat cancer. Knowing how HPV spreads and how vaccination and barrier methods can reduce your risk helps you enjoy sex and pleasure while staying safe.
